Three Nottinghamshire senior team events

Was a busy time for Nottinghamshire team archers.

On Sunday 18th August the Nottinghamshire senior team were in action in a match against a strong Leicestershire and Rutland team at their county championships at Bowmen of Glen. It was a warm day with a tricky left to right breeze. Overall the result was a win to L&R, although there were several good scores, the longbows made us proud and it was good experience for the newer members of the team.

At the regional inter county team event, the Thoresby tournament, on 1st September at Anchor Bowmen, we had a great result. the compound and longbow teams were 1st and the recurve and barebow teams were 2nd, which also gave us the overall win. And we had several individual awards.
