This year sees the 60th anniversary of the Oregon Challenge.  What is that you ask? – The attached document shows the history (according to the American’s of course).
Thank you to Sylvan Archers for an excellent book.

Basically, The President of the Robin Hood Festival Assocation of Oregon in the USA threw down a challenge to the Nottinghamshire for an archey tournament in 1956.

Nottinghamshire now include the Orgeon Challenge in the first two league shoots of the year, whilst Oregon have it as part of a week long festival.
