AWARDS AND COMPOSITION OF TEAMS:

 

SYDNEY BOND TROPHY FOR RECURVE ARCHERS –

Each county may enter up to eight recurve archers who will shoot the Bristol round appropriate to their age on the day of the tournament. Five archers will constitute a team which must contain archers of both sexes.

 

BINGHAM CERAMICS TROPHY FOR COMPOUND ARCHERS –

Each county may enter up to four compound archers who will shoot the Bristol round appropriate to their age on the day of the tournament. Three archers will constitute a team which must contain archers of both sexes.

 

Please note:

New rule – timing of ends – rule 304(f)(i) – Method 2 – will apply:     Arrows are to be shot in groups of 6. 4 minutes will be the maximum time allowed for each end with a 20 second lead in.

 

PLEASE ALSO NOTE:

  • GNAS dress regulations for target archery (rule 307) will apply.
  • All archers must be affiliated to GNAS and will be required to produce their membership card on registration.
  • Anyone wishing to take photographs must register with the tournament organiser on the day to comply with GNAS policy for children and vulnerable adults.
  • Record status shoots will be liable for drugs testing and competitors approached to provide samples must comply. Refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parental consent forms must be provided for each team member (these are provided with this entry form). No team member will be permitted to shoot without one having been completed.
  • All arrows must be detectable along their full length. Not all carbon arrows may be shot. All lost arrows must be reported to the judges and tournament organiser. Entry into this shoot denotes acceptance of these conditions.
  • EMAS, the host county, the host club and organisers will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to equipment or other personal effects.
  • Target lists will be posted on the day.
  • Results list will be sent to county team managers (or nominated individual) only.
  • It would be appreciated if archers/parents/supporters able to do so would kindly assist the organisers in moving targets at each change of distance.

2. At junction 26, take the A610 exit to Ripley/ Nottingham   0.4 mi

3. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A610    4.0 mi

4. Take the A608 exit toward Eastwood/ Heanor/ Mansfield 0.2 mi

5. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto New Derby Rd/ A608 Continue to follow A608

Go through 1 roundabout   1.5 mi

6. Turn right onto Church St/ A608 Continue to follow A6080.     3 mi

7. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto High St/ A6007

Continue to follow A60070.    9 mi

8. Turn left onto Flamstead Ave  0.1 mi

Turn left into Charles Hill Leisure Centre and follow parking marshal’s instructions

From the North

1. Head southeast on M1 toward Exit 28   0.3 mi

2. At junction 28, take the A38 exit to A615/ Derby/ Matlock       0.3 mi

3. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A38        5.7 mi

4. Take the A610 ramp to B6441/ Nottingham/ Ripley       0.2 mi

5. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A610

Go through 1 roundabout        1.0 mi

6. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on A610

Go through 1 roundabout     1.4 mi

7. Keep right to continue on Heanor Rd/ A6007

Continue to follow A6007    1.3 mi

8. Turn right onto Flamstead Ave               0.1 mi

Turn left into Charles Hill Leisure Centre and follow parking marshal’s instructions
